Chapter 1

The moon light shined down upon the mountain side landscape a soft glow of fire lanterns were glowing up pathways that seemed to end in a point, the other end out of sight. A large ancient temple covered in moss, a soft breeze blew across the tree's stopping for a moment. a soft tune came from the temple, calling and tempting those that hear the sound. Have been seen going missing, talking nonsense, gibberish in tongues. If they cross the lanterns beasts have been seen acting strange. Those that knew never tread near such a horrifying place. A small leather bag had flopped around along the path before colliding with the entrance of the temple as a bolt shot down electrifying the bag. It didn't stop and continued rolling at a alarming speed. A few leaves blew around with static from the electric passing through as the bag rolled. Arriving at the entrance of the ancient temple and slowed down only to stop in front of a small table. The belt untied into small pieces as the bag was dissolving into dust around the being inside. A light brown and dark brown patterned teddy bear with two red and gold eye buttons. A black top hat over one of its ears. A small necklace of three different collared beads held together with silver thread. Standing at one side of the table, looking around as it adjusted the hat. Shifting a bit in the seat as it sat down upon the stone.

In fact another did show up and had been watching over the area with such curiosity. a slight touch was tingly to this creature, seeing the other going through with such ease. Pushing through hesitant at first before pushing through the lanterns crackled. A cloud puffed up above the lanterns before settling down with a soft blow of the wind against the ground moving quickly towards the ancient temple. the cloud floating around inside before settling down on the other side of the table. The cloud began forming into itself as a horned skull arouse from the cloud like mist. A moment of silence was dew as a the teddy bear sat up lifting it's arm up towards the skull settling down on the other side of the table.

The teddy bears paw slammed on the table, "You're late, your paying this time!" His voice was demanding as it was soft. The skull shifting from side to side and began to growl,  a green cloud began to fill into the skull. "You know I haven't been getting much work.. why don't we celebrate.."

"Nope... but since I am such a great host.. I was waiting for you before ordering." The teddy bear narrows his button eyes. "So.. what did you need to talk with me about?" The skull smile widened, ".. I know that look, what is it?" the teddy bear narrowed his eyes even more. "Well you know, how I said I haven't gotten much work?.. well haha more like none at all.." the skull fell upon the table. The teddy bear laughed. "Yeah right.. You? Come on what happened to all the stories?" The skull stayed still, ".. So it's true huh?" The skull light up with a half hearted cackle. Silence continued before next to the table the ground shook. In a flash both of them were gone disappeared out of the temple.

The skull, teddy bear lifted up as a body began to form in the light for a instant for them both before they were gone. Lifting up a paw as he coughed some rubbing his face, scratching against the skull with large claws. Five horns coming out of the skull, the light began shifting and turning to a reptilian slit eye jade and emerald colored eyes. His body coated in a cloak as his head stayed unhidden. Leather and steel armor covered his body with a soft fur around the torso and around the thighs. His skull was itching causing him to scratch and rip into his skull. "You know if you needed help with getting by you know we are always hiring. You could.." The teddy bear standing tall towering over the skeletal, half corpse dragon. The teddy bears voice was light and gentle, "No thanks.. nothing you can do,, just didn't think it would like this,.." The teddy bear leaned over and smacked the others arm gently causing it to pop out of socket. The dragon placing its arm back into place, "Then here is to making it back to the top right?" The eyes stared deeply at the teddy bears soft hazel brown eyes. ".... you know you should be killed with fire..." The teddy bear grinned and laughed. "TO THE TOP!" They both raised imaginary cups before laughing some.

The table and objects around them were of a tea house, both placing their hands on the table in front of them. "TO THE TOP! Reservation for 2." 'Confirmed' the table illuminated as the décor began to move and shift around soon showing a hot plate stone table in front of them. Two cups filled with mist and fog. placing each other created different types of food on the hot plate. "You sure about this?" The dragon looked at the bear, "Go ahead.. besides I think I have a job perfect for you.. hell might even work out for me too if were lucky haha." A eye narrowed some at the bear. "Oh? well then I accept, but you know what I like so.. best be ready to pick up the bill"  The bear smiled, "Well duh, whose got the money to pay for this," Tep began laughing. "now stop hogging" Each using their claws to slice and place down parts of mist and fog over the table. As they placed the first layer down over the table, more cups began to appear around them, filled with a different element. The hotplate began to sizzle as a savory aroma began to come from the steam from the hotplate. The bear began pulling with his claws against some of the layer they put down. The dragon watched, "You know your going to under cook yours.." the bear grumbled, "I know how I like it, so this is how I make it.. make it your way and I'll make it my way." The dragon scuffed with a smirk, "Will do, will do.." A moment came before a smirk widened on the dragons face "well since this is a celebration.." The bear looked over as his eyes widened, "What?.. hey celebration not go all out."  The dragon back to pour down different elements onto his side of the hot plate. "NOPE! T-TOO LATE!" The table rumbled and sizzled even more, as the elements were swirling around colliding together. "WHAT THE HELL?!..." The bear sat there in shock as he narrowed his eyes before closing them with a growl before standing up and began pouring more elements onto his side. "TO THE TOP!!!!" The two began feasting hungrily, after fourteen refills on elements the bear leaned back holding his bulgy belly, "Oh.. that's it.. you win I'm done.. wipe my card I'm out." The other on his 20th refill as his body seemed to piece together little by little. A tear coming out of his eye, feeling himself starting to heal up even more. Having been rotting for so long, half of his body was soon formed. Holding a piece of meat in his mouth, only to lay on the ground in bliss with more of the food on himself than in his stomach. The bear grunted and sat up. "... Yeah ..To the top.." Both half hearted raised their arm up before putting them back down. "but I can only help you much as I can.. when I can you know that." The dragon slurped the piece of meat into his mouth, "Just tell me about the job.. what is it and how much we talking about for this?" The dragon glared sitting up cleaned up his face with a few wipes of his tongues slithering out of his mouth.

"That never makes me grossed out when you do that. Jobs a easy one.. but of course there's a catch."
"When isn't there" The dragon grunted as his body was almost completely form, "Right? Any-way it's a easy in and out job.. and I couldn't think of anyone else than you to make it happen."
"Easy and in and out never ends well.. that goes double for me remember?" The dragon slammed his tail against the ground as it shook. "Hey now don't need you making us banned from this place too.." The whole building shook, as he lifted up his tail quickly. The dragon apologized quickly for his disturbance, as there were other occupants. "I'm sorry, very sorry, didn't mean to cause any alarm." In the small holes in the rocks of the ancient temple were hundreds of tiny tea house rooms with a large view of a mountain side. The staff in each room were calling for quiet.. The dragon lowered himself down to the ground. "Sorry, sorry sorry, everyone I-... Yes, I will tread more lightly. Yes, yes, I will be leaving soon, soorry .. yaa-yes haha maybe next time.. yes, yes." The bear watched The dragon reassuring the staff and other patrons, before everything seemed to calm down. The dragon looked down at the food and the floor some in shame. "Alright I guess we can go don't worry I got some carry out for you." The skull dragon smiled happily, "You do care.. you old care be-" "You speak one more word you will be in more pain than you can dream of." The skull dragon chuckled nervously, "Tep the.. CARE BEAR!" The skull dragon bolting out of the door with the take-out sprinting into a large passage opening up into a old and tranquil tavern and village. The bear growled and began to run after him before being stopped by staff requiring payment for their meal. The Tep's eyes twitch as he held his paws in rage, before taking a breath. "Yes.. I'll be paying for the carry out and him as well." Sighing softly before placing his paw upon the bill as it glowed a soft purple.

The dragon walked down the main path through, the town taking his time with a big smug smirk on his face eating a small piece of food from the carry out. "Oh that's good.." Drooling a bit holding a slice of meat up to his nose. "I will savor you and make sure you go to a good place fantastic and amazing places.." The bottom and top of his head began to turn a slight purple with a bit of smoke coming from his jaws. His lips broke off a piece of the meat. "Oh ... tender.. oo.so good to me.." The piece he had in his mouth almost as if it dissolved over his tongue with a happy and blissful smile spread across his lips.  Everyone looked away from him as he passed, he could hear their whispers and murmurs as he passed. Holding the carry out bag in his arms a bit closer as he walked. "I hope you plan on sharing.. Skuleth" Tep walked up behind him before walking beside Skuleth smirked with a bit of meat hanging out the corner of his mouth. Soon shaking his head, "Yeah, that's fine by me.. but anyways so the job starts soon and they need someone to help out with some..." Tep placed his paws on his chin, "Someone more capable than myself to go and help them out." Tep continued as they walked passing by other beings of many shapes and sizes, Skuleth was quiet and listened carefully to the job. "Ha.. more capable than you? what poor sucker would believe that?" Out of the city of 'Naconorton' as Tep and Skuleth continued down a path leading down into a valley. Tep, Skuleth still talking as Tep filled Skuleth in on the job it didn't take them long before they arrived at the marshlands. The marsh territory laid deep in the valley, the two continued down a path quick for a moment until they reached the swamp waters. "So the job is super easy.. trust me. I'd do it myself but." Gestures to the bag hanging off his side, wrapped around his body with a leather strap. Skuleth glancing down at the bag and shuttered. "I still don't get why, you want me to do this job. This is something your kind are suitable to do." Tep shook his head with a chuckle, "Well you said you needed some work.. Well this will be out of your expertise but I think you would do great... Besides if it doesn't work out, apparently this place you could.. run amuck and it wouldn't change anything important." Tep grinned a fang peeking out of the side of his lips. Skuleth chewed turning his attention to the swamps watery surface, noticing a flower starting to bloom out. He stopped to watch it for a moment before swallowing what he had in his mouth "Won't change anything important huh? That's.. what concerns me... How bad can this place be?" Tep walked over to a log and sat down on top of a mossy spot. "A place that is in need of a hero." Holding the takeout box in his claws looking through it once more, "So, who has the villain in this place? You didn't say who, will these heroes end up fighting against. If not someone like me?" Tep leaned back crossing his arms in front of him, with a smirk. "Can't give out that information, besides this is still in the works. So sooner and longer your there.. the better the payout will be in the end." Skuleth narrowed his eyes at Tep leaning back a bit, "Yeah, I guess." Skuleth opening up the take-out box, taking out a slice of bread. Slipping the slice into his mouth letting his tongues rip it apart as it moved along down his throat. "It would be good to get back into the swing of things.. but heroes? really? You know, I will probably just kill them instead of helping them, right?" Tep sighed with a groan and shrugging a bit while placing his paws on his lap some. "Not my call besides say's its fine so.. Why not give them a chance first and if they aren't up to fluff then do what you want. Until, the right heroes show up or when someone comes to take over for you. Besides might be what you need." Skuleth started walking into the waters as the murky waters shifted, "Fi-ine, I'll do it need the job anyway." grumbling some at the thought. The take out box in-between his claws while, he submerged deeper into the waters. "When would be soon enough? Rather get this over with and be done with it." Tep nodded and hopped up off the log as Skuleth moved to the waters and followed Skuleth into the water. "Oh well, that's the beauty of this.. anytime night-day so sooner is better." Both walking and talking under water to each other. Soon only two of Skuleth's horns could be seen, moving around at the waters surface. "So it's a trap?" Skuleth stopped and looked at Tep, "Hm? Trap? No, it isn't a trap? How can this job be a trap?" Skuleth continued to walk beside Tep. "I know a trap when I hear it.. it's all just off. some hero is going to get to be and befriend and I'm suppose to go along and help them regardless of, 'if' they die by me or another?" Tep shook his head as they walked along the bottom of the swamp. "No, you can only kill them if they aren't up to fluff, and you are to keep them alive from others. So, think of it as a escort service moving the merchandise ..'the hero' to its destination protecting them, along the way." Tep explained while lowering his body some to get around a root of a tree. Walking down a path towards the roots connected to the ground forming houses, a small abandoned village as they continued down along the path. "Anything, I need to bring with me?" Skuleth asked while reaching a root house covered in various types of moss, and various planet bulbs in various places. "Well bring something that would help in their journeys, but less you bring more you get for your Shard, ya know?" Touching against a patch of moss as the door shifted into a curtain of moss letting them through easily. "So leave everything here and bring what you need." Stepping into the house, and walked into the hallway. They walked in drying off in a instant. Tep ran over to a large chair as it had a indent of Skuleths back body on it and jumped into it, "Ah! You still have this old thing!" Skuleth blinked noticing where Tep was and pointed at Tep, "Careful don't ruin my spot with your fat ass" Tep laughed and nodded, getting back up. "Yeah, well here this is for you.." Reaching into the bag and pulled out a small slip placing it on the table. "Here is the slip so since you need the work.. I'm sure you will get this done quick besides your doing me a favor." Skuleth looked at the slip and took it in between his claws lifting it up to his face to read it. "What's wrong need glasses hmm?" Tep smirked a bit, "I DO NOT! You people's writing is so tiny.." Skuleth grumbled reading the slip mumbling to himself as he was reading it. "Alright looks legit.." Skuleth narrowed his eyes some before looking at Tep. "So a favor huh.. then you would owe me.. you know that right?" Tep nodded looking serious as he looked to Skuleth. "Yeah.. I'm okay with that for this.. I really need you to handle it for me." Skuleth leaned against the wall and placed the slip back on the table. "Alright, thanks for the food.. You should head on then since your busy. Wouldn't want you to be late." Skuleth said with a soft smile. "Thanks.. Remember to do your best. I'll be checking in when I can." Tep said still looking serious, Skuleth rolling his eyes some before gesturing towards the door, "Yeah, I'll let you think about it.. remember any time." Tep stood up patting Skuleth shoulder some, heading out the door, "I also have some stuff coming for you so enjoy." Skuleth sat at the table. "Alright, thanks for letting me know." Tep walking out through the curtain of moss swaying against the water behind it. Skuleth watched him leave before looking back at the table and then the single slip that rests on the table. Staring at it trying to think of when to go. "Easy job.. change of pace.. it's a trap. He can blow smoke all he wants, I'm sure. I'm right but I can't afford to be right or wrong.." Sighing heavily and laid his head on the table a bit staring at the slip. Thinking of the pay out and the benefits it would include. Glancing over at everything he had, "How long will I be gone?" Thinking of the first day arriving in this place, he would call home. "My home.. We have been through a lot haven't we?"

Looking around the kitchen remembering, in flashbacks of good times in this room then the bad times. His paws laid palm down on the rough table surface. "I'm sorry, you had to go through those things with me.. But thank you for always sheltering me, when I needed warmth, and when I needed to cool down you had me even then. As I sit here I know you'll always be here for me when I need you.. but do you need me as I do you? I am not a good resident I try but I always end up breaking things. I don't want you to scream and run away in fright." Stopping for a moment and smiled with a glow coming from his eyes "You held me kept me safe at night. All I did was live within you. Please oh please here my cry, Thank you, I never wanna hear good bye, but that day I believe is growing near.." His head hung low glancing at a letter a single floating piece of parchment. In strange writing, it was clear with an amount with a currency symbol of a dragon head. It was a letter stating that the whole neighborhood was being destroyed, unless the amount was collected "Please wait for me I'll pay I swear, I'll go through the depths of any realm only to have to you.. Some place that" His eyes glowed some as his forehead began to sizzle as the glowing turned into a soft green neon flame with forehead blue horned tips. "I can go to unwind from the worlds, I have been to.. Dimensions portals far and wide no place is like no place I know.. it's you home.." Taking a deep breath, reaching over to his side pulling a small pebble of jade, glowing in between his fingers. Twisting and spinning the pebble around through his fingers. "I have a bit from the last job. I can make it last long as I can.." Placing the pebble down on the table next to the slip. The table glowed slightly before the table showed a swamp ripple as moss and water lily's bloomed along the sides of the table. Text's began appearing along the table, ".. Let's see what we missed," Text of news, of different articles, using his claws to navigate through what he read for a few moments before tapping the table. The screen disappeared as his claw placed on the table. "Same thing.. nothing changes.." Drawing a heavy sigh looking out the window at the fish and murk of the water shinning like gold. "But I will do everything, I can to keep this home.. I have made it. Finally." Clenches his claws into a fist and let out a soft roar, as the walls shook some. "Heh.. one day I'll shout out loud and My home will be able to take it." Smiling happily, "My home.." Taking another heavy sigh holding his chest coughing a bit, slowly breathing. "Ha.. woo hah.. alright come on we got this.." sitting up a bit more stretching out a bit leaning his body against the wall and everything he could. Wings sprouting from his back and began to wrap around his body letting his wings and body relax as the room got small with his body taking up most of the home. "At least I can stretch out some." Holding his form for a moment before shrinking down and coughed. "A-Ugh.. Okay might need a bit more room.. don't worry, I'll fix you up, where we both can live comfortably.." His claws touched over the top of the table staring at the slip on the table still. A loud thud came from outside as a crate was thrown through his doorway. Spinning around before landing against the wall of the hallway, a lock began to glow around the crate locking with a loud click. The skeleton began to form around the crate as it turned into a casket. A soft yellow came from the skeleton on top of the casket as the rest of began to give off a light green color. A note hanging from the side of the casket,

"From: Your best friend,
Thanks again, for doing this. You are the best friend someone like me could ever have. I mean that, even if I am not from your world. Thank you, for being there for me. Now it's my turn to return the favor.
'~(^.0__0.^)~`+To the top!'~(^.0__0.^)+~`

Chapter 2

Skuleth huffed and leaned back looking at the gift, reading the note turning away with a grumble but a somewhat smile coming across his face. "Ugh, fine. I'll do it." He rubbed his head some before, taking the slip in-between his claws. "Go, now come back home.. sooner." Twisting the slip between his fingers in deep thought. 'I could just go in and rampage around before going back to the spot.. might bring in some ext-wait.. its one of his kinds job. How can I do this better than him? This smells like a trap all of it does.' Staring at the slip before lifting his head from the table then stood up trying to think like Tep. "Good guy stuff.. The hell would they need? them?.. it, they, them, whatever doesn't matter." Walking out of the room and to the hallway passing by his reflection as he looked at himself. "... good guy.. stuff, I'm not the good guy." His reflection deforms once his eyes locked, closing his eyes walking away moving into a small room enough to have a bed a soft pelted blanket with soft furs. Near the bed a beaded closet with very few clothing options as one hung on a hanger still new and untouched. Looking at the clothing, lightly touched it with his claw feeling the softness of the fabric. "One day, I'll maybe try you on and look good too." His claw accidently cut a hole in a sleeve. "No.. n.. okay sorry sorry." quickly taking his claws away from it quickly before carefully moving them out of the way. Taking a hold of a pair of overalls of silver and dark green designs all along the sides. "This will do.. besides comfortable., and many pockets haha." Chuckling to himself while posing in front of his closet without a mirror to show how he looked, back to him. "..Well at least this outfit should allow me to blend in if there are any agriculture prospects around, well what do you think?" He asked looking at the beads, as they blew softly towards him. "Heh.. thanks, I know it probably looks foolish.. but how else do I not frighten others away?" Exiting out of his room and passed by the mirror once more stopping for a moment in thought looking at the mirror behind him. "... Do I look approachable?.. " not able to see his reflection before looking down at the ground. Walking to the front door, stopping at the moss curtains as he turned his head to the side as he looked down at a stump cut out with moss covering under and all around the stump. "... I'm going to work, be good. I don't know when I'll be back. So stay alive till then, okay?" He said leaving his home through the moss curtains a wall of murky water stood in his way. Walking along the bottom of the swamp heading back to Naconorton, stepping out of the swamp and continued along the pathway his mind in deep thought as he walked alone with the slip in-between his fingers gripping it tightly. Reaching the entrance to Naconorton his eyes went down to the ground, taking a slow and deep breath. Walking through the middle of town keeping his eyes on the ground, only glancing up every once in a while. To keep track of where he was going, "Skuleth!" A demonic females voice came from one of his sides, a feline demoness was scurrying along his side. "Where you going?" She said with here feathery wings spread open in front of him as she tried to keep up. He would glance down at her, as he slowed down some. Letting her lean on him some, "I have work so.. I'll be leaving." She froze some and held his paw in hers, "Oh well uh .. you.. uh.. If you ever need a demon princesses help.. with anything - I I'm only a call-" A loud hiss followed by, "SKULETH!" A purple hairs cat running over in a hurry with a pair of glassed over her muzzle. Her tail puffed up as she quickly joined, her friend. "Jane.. What are you doing here? Skuleth?! Hello.. Hi.. heh." Her face was flushing with different colors as her eyes began to change in color. He looked down a into Rains eyes and smiled softly. "Hello Rain, your drooling again haha." Offering her a napkin as Jane began cackling with laughter, both seemed to stare daggers at each other, but smiled and looked at Skuleth. "Skulettthh." they say at the same time. "SKUEEEEETH!!" A small kitten ran out of a doorway having a metallic animatronic chasing after the child. The child was laughing as Skuleth softly smiled as his face softened slightly showing a bit of sorrow and joy. The kitten jumped up towards him as he reached down grabbing a hold of her. "Careful.. I have horns little one do not harm yourself on me.." slowly hugging her to not harm her.  Jane smirked "I know someone that wouldn't mind being impaled.." and Rain huffed with a moanful sigh before her head darted towards Jane with a deadly glare. "... shut.. uup..." Lightly rubbing the back of the kitten before lowering down to place her back down. "Skuleth she's after me. make her go awaaay!!" She began crying suddenly, "... it's bathtime isn't it?" Skuleth smiled lightly, the kitten began looking around. "N.u.. dunno.. maybe but.. I don't wanna.." She began to throw a fit as the animatronic with glowing lights along its polished feline model. "She refuses to take a bath.. it was my turn to do it but she keeps running away.." Skuleth looked down at Lilone with his paws on his waist and shook his head. "Well then I guess there is only one way to fix this... we must eat the child.." Skuleth crouched down and playfully nipping at the kitten as she screamed with laughter as he chased her around for a moment before she fell over. He pounced on top of her and tickled her. "I got to tenderize the meat yup yup almost on nho aohh." he chuckled being playful as the kitten laughed and giggled wiggling around. He let her go and stood up, "Alright you played no go clean up." She flailed on the ground a bit and huffed, before getting up and held the animatronics paw. "Fiiine." She said while going back to her home with the animatronic leading the way. "Thank you again, Skuleth." He would nod his head some,  "Does this look scary to you girls?" Opening up his arms up showing off a bit in a t like pose. A red fox snickered a bit her tail swaying back and forth her eyes look like the night sky. "Scary? no.. Handsome mmmhmm." Skuleth sighed and rolled his eyes to her comment. "Yeah, sure.. I got good work.." The girls stood in shock looking at him. "So.. I need to know do I look scary?.. Or do I look like a good guy?" The girls looked away some not looking him in the eyes. "... You look less.. scary." Skuleth sighed softly. "I guess that will be good enough. Thanks girls." He patted them in the head softly as he walked by. Rain was staring as he walked by drooling as she leaned over some. "Some girls like the scary.." She said wiping her mouth before, they all walked back to their home a cat mansion with three stories, and two towers. Their land spread far as Skuleth was allowed to venture through such land to arrive at his destination. The fox watching him as he was soon out of view turning around as she went into the mansion as well. "Handsome as ever.. you fool. When will you learn that?" She sighed some, her ears falling to hear sides, along with her tail. Skuleth continued his way down passing by a hoovering carriage was cruising by slowly. "Need a ride Skuleth?" Another cat female waved her paws at him as they passed each other. "No thank, Got a job to do but maybe some other time." A large breasted cat feline leaned out of the carriage. "I GOT A JOB FOR YOU TO DOO!" she said her tongue out as she fanned herself winking at him. Skuleth rolled his eyes once again before shaking his head. "Maybe some other time Cherat." Walking down the pathway making it soon to the ruin stone post. Taking a deep breath as he looked at the slip. "Lets see." Walking over to the stone pillar and placed the slip into a slot. The stone began to vibrate as lights were spreading out from the top of the stone pillar. A ray of light shined slowly creating an image. "Skuleth accepting work.. starting immediately." A mirror image showed of himself as he looked away from the hologram. "Accepted please proceed." A messaged showed as the hologram dissolved as a large shadow of light and darkness showed along it self in a form of a picture frame taking in the dissolved hologram and showed a place and name of the place along the top of the frame as it glowed in the different colored darks and lights.

Standing in front of the portal, looking back up again at the name above. 'Crystalis' "You have got to be kidding me.. this is the place that." staring at the name, with great disgust. "THIS?!" he roared out angrily, his tail whipping back and forth behind him. Standing in front of the portal as his claws were balled up into fists, his whole body shaking out of anger. "W-why here?!" He grumbled to himself before unwillingly taking the slip that turned into a colored crystal like shard, from the stone and walked through the portal to the other-side, "No wonder why it wouldn't matter if I'd rampage around, they all deserve nothing but to suffer." Stepping onto ground as his claws dug into the stone path with each step. Noticing a single chest on a platform, "You're what I'm suppose to be around huh? At least it won't annoy me while, I do this." His claws entangled with each other as he stood in front of the chest before turning around and sitting down on the top of the chest. ".. I'm here again. Imma kill him next time, I see him rip apart each limb, he can muster."

Sitting upon a chest, "Hero's.. Ugh nasty vermin, killing things all the time. Always messing up my lives. Why do I have to help them now?!.. change of pace bah.. we'll see." Glaring at the entrance to the room, his eyes burning with rage. "I hate waiting!!.." he yelled out with a roar, "what's taking so long I want this done and over with!" Growling as he grumbled to himself. Closing his eyes for a moment, before passing out, as he hadn't slept in decades. Snoring, before coiling himself around the chest resting his head along the platform and chest. "... I'll have my revenge.. good guy?" sleeping as his chest rose and fell, time stood still as he slept for the first time in a long time. His body seemed to relax this was the part of the job he enjoyed, finally being able to sleep before wrecking havoc. His eye twitched, 'must do a good job.. I can't fail..' he said softly holding onto the chest with a tight grip. His wing slowly outstretched covering up the chest as if cuddling up to it. 'We lose home if we fail..' His voice began to change as if having a conversation with himself in his sleep. 'I'll get us through this..' 'You?' there was a long pause as his breathing increased for a moment before his last breath came out slow and easy.

Chapter 3

Sleeping deeply, for fourteen days and thirteen nights he slept unmoving from where he had fallen asleep. Slowly lifting his head with a annoyed grumble of a roar shaking the whole room, only to yawn out smacking his lips together and looked around with his head raised. Slightly in a daze, "Huh?.. where am I?" Looking around and then noticing the chest he was holding. "Oh right.. must have fallen asleep.." Wiping the small bit of drool from his mouth. Looking up at the ceiling and then back at the ground. "... I have no way of telling time.. Welp, that's going to be fun." Stretching out his body some as he began walking around. "Welp, this is going to suck.. good thing, I came prepared." Taking out a deck of cards from his back pocket, the cards were written in a different language as he began playing with them. He also pulled out some dice and began using the dice and cards in a game. Some time later hanging from the ceiling with his claws digging into the stone, "14 bald people all making a light beacon off their heads." He sand in a bored and tired tone. "Waiting for a hero to come and saaaave them." Slowly swaying his arms out stretched dangling freely before letting go of the ceiling. Smacking into the ground with a thud kicking up dust around him. A pressure plate was pressed with the weight of the base of his tail. A trap was activated sending multiple needle like blades over the length of his body from both walls. His eyes sprung open as the blades flew over his body, laying froze for a second before his horns coiled back as he smiled, surprised and amazed at the trap, "oh? Oh!? OOOOOOHOHOHOH!!" Laughing to himself as he began scurrying around on the ground feeling around for more pressure plates and traps along the floor. "Okay let's see how you work we will need more for those hero's." Cackling with glee as his devilish mind. Using the same pressure plate he began taking it apart, and seeing how it worked. He had forgotten about the heroes and everything he had to do while in the room. His focus was on the traps and how to set them up and make them better. He hadn't eaten or drank any of the food that was stored for him. Only when one of his own traps went off smacking him in the head with a heavy hammer did he stumble around. Rubbing his head a bit, before seeing the chest. "Oh right.. how long have I been here?" He asked himself marking another daily mark, unsure of the actual time. Walking slowly around grabbing some of his rations, but his paw felt nothing. Opening up his ration box, "Oh.. it's been that long huh?... how long has it been since we've eaten?" Looking at his paws as they were thinner than they had been in a long time. "Ha.. look at that, we failed again I guess.." He said softly before leaning his back against the wall, all his traps he had done were complete and were ready to go off at any moment. His body barley keeping the overalls up. "Ha.. it was a trap.. that's right keep the evil guy out of the picture.. good will win when evil is gone." He lowered his head putting his claws over his face. "I haven't done anything to anyone.. everything I do fails, I'm not a good guy and I have to be a bad guy." His eyes were getting heavy, "I wonder, if the girls got who they love?.. lilone better take her baths haha be nice and clean ha.. Everyone beter be doing okay.." He thought of everyone he ever been around and with for a moment, thinking back on his memories with them. He even smiled and laughed along he had finally fit in somewhere, but like a rude awakening as they all left barely coming by anymore. Happy memories turning to the unpleasant endings all those that he ever come in contact with. Scratching his face out of frustration cutting into his scales, His blood began to boil with rage cutting into himself. "Don't hurt nobody." Looking at his claws then touching his head some looking at the piece of scaled flesh he cut up from his forehead. "... I am the evil one.. this is what I deserve.." He blinked a bit as he took a deep breath. "Tep... Did you sell me out? Why did you betray me?" he sniffled holding his head, "I.. Thought we were friends?.. I put on not scary clothing. I can't help it I'm sorry." He said to himself as his eyes began to water feeling very tired as his body leaned heavily on the wall. Chuckled softly, "Soon as I'm done with this job.. I'm going on vacation to my home for a very long time.. haha.." Taking another slow breath holding his head some. "At least I had a place called home.. by the looks of things, I have already lost my place, and maybe more of the sanity I once had right?" Sighing softly. "Ugh.. I think I give the job a D+ no gold stars or even a ribbon for it. heh, I'll Lousie the hell out of the job review." Looking at the piece of himself before tossing it into his mouth as he began chewing. "Ugh.. This is what I taste like this time?.. eh not bad could use some.. heh sauce." Moving claws down to his lips, four slender but worm like creatures come out of his mouth soaking up the blood from his claws to his palm. A saliva trail covered his claws as he rubbed it against his head as he growled in pain. Repeating this process for a second time as the wounds slowly healed up. "Welp, here I am.. back to square one.." Looking at his body, "I guess I've been kinda out of it for a while.." Blinking his eyes like it was the first time in a long time he had used them. "Oh.. I guess since I failed being a good guy.. I am curious since its been so long.." Glancing up at the ceiling. "I think I can make a way out.. I don't think were too deep." Getting his balance making sure to lean against the wall. "I'm taking a shortcut, Tep sorry and if you ever do come.. visit.. I will be the last one you will ever want to see.." Pointing to the ceiling, "Hey you.. out my way." Part of the ceiling gives way immediately coning out as light can be seen from up above. "Oh.. thank you.." Stepping out over rocks and dirt, "Oh, I hope. They have something good to eat, I'm hungry."

Day unknown year unknown

The chest was covered in cobwebs still closed, the door was sealed shut as it was from the beginning. Cobwebs coating the ceiling and walls, droplets of water came from the ceiling near the door. The sound of water dropping echoed all around the room with each drop. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months to years. It seemed endless time changing but the room stayed the same slowly the chest began to rust. along with the door as the moisture was growing slightly, more water dropping down until a steady stream was falling down into the room. The lock rusted into the chest, wielding itself against the chest. The water making the ceiling cave in on itself, a rush of water came from the ceiling above. The chest remained on the platform high enough away from the water. A leather bag fell from the ceiling only to splash down into the water and floated up tot he surface. Tep bursts out of the leather bag in his teddy bear form and waved his arms. "You did it! Congrats!!" Opening up his eyes and began looking around. "See.. what happens when.." staring around at the disorder, condition of the room as his jaw drops to inside of the leather bag. "WHAT HAPPENED YOU WERE JUST SUPPOSE TO WAIT!!" Looking around noticing he was alone, "Skuleth? where'd you go?" Looking up at the ceiling and the opening. "Oh .. that's not good." Noticing the chest hadn't been touched. ".. Hey no no.. no." Looking down over the bag seeing that there was a large amount of water. "What happened here?" Confused patting the bag some as it began to slither along the surface of the water then climbing up onto the platform. ".. alright that's better I guess.." lifting his arm up and began walking around the platform and looking around the room a bit more before smacking the chest with his paw. "Hey you in there?! Anyone home?!" Smacking the chest some more with each strike the chest budged just a bit.
He grunted a bit leaning his head against the chest. A trap was set off by the leather bag stepping forward towards the chest. A spear came soaring from the wall, towards the chest and Tep. The spear went right over the chest and snapped once it hit the wall. Lifting himself up some looking at the spear. "Hmm, I don't remember that trap being there.." Lowering himself back down on the floor as he looked around. "What did you do to this place while you were here?" Grumbled some, "The job was to help the hearo's... Not to Kill them!" Gripping one side of the chest as it began to crack, quickly letting go. "oops.. fragile excuse me so he's not here.. but why didn't the hero's come? I don't get it." Rubbing his head some in thought "Well I was going to congratulate you for helping the Hero's.. but they never showed.. did they?" A moment of silence before looking around at the carnage his head hung low, glancing over at the chest "I guess.. I should at least put all this to use, or put it back." stepping back a bit, walked around the chest to the lock. Staring at it for a moment. "Oh." His paws reached over taking the lock as it broke into pieces in his paws. Lifting the lid of the chest which snapped some and creaked open. Inside was gold jewels as Tep looked inside and began taking out the contents of the chest, placing them into the leather bag that waddled itself over to Tep.

Reaching near the bottom noticing a cloak laying neatly under all the gold and jewels. Looking down at the cloak, "Oh. I'm sorry, didn't realize someone else was already here." "Should have double checked the work order." he mumbled to himself. "Wait there, I'll get you out in a Jiffy!" He would say using his paws to quickly take out everything on top of the cloak in a rapid pace. Its hood would shift and wiggle around some soon, The leather bag jumping left to right catching everything he was tossing out. The cloak lifted itself up from the chest stretching out its stitches. The fabrics on the cloak stretched out almost covering around the whole room, before shrinking back down into a small cloak that had twenty four small empty slots making a design along the inside of the cloak, as well as two small pockets on the outside. Tep watched, stunned for a moment as his jaw dropped a bit. "Sorry, the job was a flop, what's your name? Were you here before? Do you know what happened to Skuleth?" he asked as the cloak floated up around began looking around the room. "Like I said.. Job was a flop.. hey! Are you listening to me?" Tep watched the cloak, "Its probably changed a lot since last you seen it, don't worry we ca-" He stopped himself seeing the cloak floating out of the room through the ceiling. "HEY! I'm talking! wah'wait! It's dangerous!" Tep ran to the edge of the platform and jumped as the bag was rolling quickly and scooped up Tep while he was running. "Hey! GET BACK HERE?!!" He shouted the bag bouncing off the waters surface and began flying up following behind the cloak., "STOP! STAY!... SIT?!" Shooting out of the narrow ways only to come out our of a mountain side. Tep quickly looked around at ground level before the bag flew up higher into the sky. "Where? where?" he kept softly repeating to himself, frantically looking for the cloak in this world. Flying up higher as he looked over the edge of the bag, soon seeing the cloak coming out of a lake and flopped a bit on the ground. Tep sighed heavily. "Oh thank. The stuffing stuffers." Lowering down to the lakeside the bag landed on the ground as Tep stepped out of the bag. "If you wanted to take a dip, I know this fountain does wonders for the stitches." He chuckled some seeing the cloak as it looked larger than before, "You may need to cut back on the extra water.. Or did you catch something?" The cloak opened up as water spilled out along with a child. Teps eyes went wide, standing there in shock, and in horror as his jaw drops. "Oh.." quickly running over to the child checking if it was still breathing. "Oh sh...tuffing.." Saying in a panic, "Their alive okay we're safe.. come on lets go before it wakes up." closing his mouth and looked around before climbing back into his bag.

Chapter 4

Gesturing to the cloak to get in the bag, tilting its hood to the side. Tep moved his paws gesturing to get in to the bag over and over again as the cloak looked down at Tep with its head tilted. "Come on lets go, get in the bag. You'll fit promise so come on." The cloak waved in the air some in the same spot still over the child some. The child was soaking wet with barely any clothing on its body, coughing a bit as it spit out water from its nose and mouth. Shaking a bit, the cloak reached out its sleeve rubbing its side with warmth drying off the child in the matter of seconds. Tep stood there slowly coming out of the bag, "That works too.." Tep nodded some, looking back and forth from the cloak and the child. The child stood up taking a few breaths before looking at both the cloak and Tep cowering some. "You aren't going to steal my soul? or eat me?" The child asked Tep stood in wonder tilting his head some. "Stea-? No, no we won't eat you or steal souls. but we are leaving now okay?.. So you didn't see us? got it?" The child stared and nodded frightened before taking off into the woods in a panic. Tep sighed deeply, "Oh good look their okay now let's goo.. Got to get you to headquarters since your not giving me any information.." Tep looked back to where the Cloak was, staring at the spot it was. "...you go to be.." Tep looked around for the cloak only to see a glimpse of it chasing after the child. "NO you stu-.. stop." Tep ran after the cloak as the bag rolled along the ground picking up Tep along it's way following the Cloak. "I am revoking YOUR! license and going to make sure who ever they work for gives them such a harsh punishment for this.. this has to be against policy. The jobs a flop so we le-" A thundering roaring howl came from the direction of the child running too.  As many more called out, a large group of large and small males and females searching for the child. 2 children called out and ran to the other, joining in a large embrace before scolding the child for worrying them so much. A large female in a spry age as she looked at the child touching over them happily wrapping her arms around the child and held them close for a moment before placing them back down on the ground. Her eyes looking at the cloak hoovering above the ground swaying around in the wind in one spot. She walked towards it pushing one of the bigger males out of the way as she walked up to it. Looking at it straight in its hood, the cloak lowered itself down so the bottom touched the ground. A slow bow of her head to the cloak, Tep catching up to the cloak and stopped a bit away, as the female turned her head to see the leather bag. "Spirits of this forest we mean you no harm.. You have our thanks in finding one of our own.. Please allow us safe passage home through your homes." Tep watched, confused for a bit, but slowly stepped out of the bag. "We also mean you no harm." Tep announced looking at them all, "I'm here to retrieve my friend here and another that I'm searching for.. and we will be going once I find them.." Staring at them for a moment, 'couldn't hurt asking.' stepping forward a bit "You wouldn't have seen any large dragon would you?" The female raised her brow and laughed. "Are you daft? dragonfolk dare not show their faces here.. The only dragonfolk of any kind would be a far journey from here. She has a place there, but from what I know no one travels to her home come back." She looked at them and gestured to them. "Come we shall celebrate our meeting with a feast." She said aloud as the males and females groaned mumbling being tired haven't been looking all day for the child. Which was being carried off by its family back home, The cloak followed along, as Tep gestured back to the bag. "Hey stop ignoring me.. we need to go." The female stood there in front of Tep, "Please stay this once. Then you can leave for your journey to the dragonfolk." Tep looked at the female, "We would love to but.." Looking around some seeing that the cloak was nowhere to be seen as it was following those carrying the child back to their home. "I guess.. for tonight we could stay but only tonight we will be leaving early in the morning." Tep picked up the bag and placed it around his waist as it shrank down to his size. Wobbling angrily mumbling to himself following behind everyone as the female walked beside him. "You remind me of a toy I had when I was a child.. tough old thing. So I am sure your journey will go smoothly as they say." Tep glanced up at the women. "I am hoping so..This wasn't suppose to happen." Tep looked away from the women and narrowed his button eyes as he noticed the cloak. "If your friend is dragonfolk you may find they are not welcomed in most places.. others it is best for them to stay away from." Tep slowed down some in shock, "What? Ha no.. no my friend is very strong.. and sometimes smart so I'm sure they are okay.." Tep walked with the women following down the valley to small cabins built out of the lumber of the trees around, some were a whole tree naturally bending and built a home in the tree tops and near the base of the trees. tree branches were bent and molded into stairways along the trees connecting the small community. Teps button eyes blinked as he looked around being impressed on how they were living. The village was made up of different kinds of beings some with multiple limbs or heads. Walking along the women following to their cabin next to a stable where there was a small stone statues lined along the sides. Tep stared at the statues they were deformed from a long time in the elements. The clouds began covering the sky as rain sprinkled down upon the leaves of the trees above then trickled down to the ground. As the rain fell the people gathered vases and large barrels putting them in certain places as the rain was dripping into the containers.

Chances taken away Chapter one:// Chill

"...Hey..."
"Hm wah?"

"Hey wake up."
"Why?"

It was silent for a moment, before a light would flash over his eyes. "Hm? What?" Slowly opening his eyes staring slightly at the light. "What's going on?"

"You have to come back."

'That voice... I know that voice. I think.' He thought before shouting out, "WHY SHOULD I?! Weren’t you the one that wanted me gone! You're the one that said, I didn't belong!" There was silence to his questions and acquisitions, the response was a cold hand touched upon his back. Pushing him towards the light floating towards it unable to move away.

"They need you.

Was the only answer he was given, "What?! NO! I refuse! Not like this!" Reaching up to cover his body, but the shackles on his wrists weighed his arms down at his side. "NO-noo!" Screaming out, before closing his eyes in-coated in darkness a tear ran down his cheek.

As sudden as he closed his eyes, he felt something he hadn't in ages. A single droplet of water fell upon his forehead, feeling the cool moist ground under his body. He could feel the water slowly stream down his face caressing down to the ground. Keeping his eyes closed, as his ears twitched with the sound of rain drops like a parade of applause falling around him. "No."

His bottom lip quivered as the tears he was soon shedding mixed with the rain drops falling upon his face and body. Bending a finger some before touching the ground below feeling the blades of grass, moist ground. Reaching over his body, feeling that he was free of the shackles that held him for so long. "Why?" asking in heartache gripping his chest as memories of the past, feelings flooded into his mind.

"I don't belong here!" Yelling out towards the sky repeatedly, as the tears ran down his cheeks. The rags he wore kept him covered as he laid in the dirt turning into mud around him. Tears continues rolling down as memories were coming back. Stomach rumbled with a angry growl, as if he hadn’t eaten in weeks.

Putting his hand upon his stomach with some strain, 'Shut up you, don't you start too.' Sniffling his nose, the smell of the water mixing with the plants around him. The smell of a landscape celebrating with joy, the sound of rain colliding with leaves and the ground.

The splashing of water from the raindrops and the warmth of each raindrop embracing his body and soaking into the fabric of his rags. Covering in mud along his back as he stayed still for a moment silently listening to everything with his eyes closed. He slowly smiling with a chuckle.

"Ha!" lower lip still quivering he was overjoyed but deeply saddened. Opening up his hands and reached out slowly feeling the raindrops along his fingertips and against his body. Heavy footsteps in the rain were getting closer indenting into the ground leaving large footprints behind.

The rain halted for a second as the footsteps came to a stop on opposite sides of his head. A whining cry came from the other in the rain, close to his face. Listening as his eyes slowly opened as the figure was towering over him, there breath panting. Four pale, thick tentacles came from its mouth shaking as they stretched out from its mouth.

Looking up at the figure as his eyes focused more having his head blocked from the rain drops, 'Crash?' the figure whined once more to him. "Crash?" He asked in a unexpecting joyful tune, soon as the name was said. The tentacles stopped inches from his head, a panting whimper sounded from Crashes jaws.

Crash leaned in closer smelling his head with a low growl. "I know, I've been gone so long I'm so sorry, but I'm back now." 'Please, forgive me for leaving.' His finger slowly clenched up before opening lifting slowly up to touch Crash's head that blocked the rain.

Once he touched Crash head they cried happily. "CRASH! AHA! CRAAAASSSSSS!" Slobbering and lapping up at his face with it's tentacles, "Crash! ew aaaa! ow careful ha hahaha!" Each tentacle was rubbing aggressively lovingly against his face. Crash's head moved out of the way as he quickly wiping off the slobber from his face as he gripped the ground to sit up.

Crash could only stay away for a moment before jumping upon his lap like a puppy seeing their beloved family for the first time in a long time. Crash was a (), more commonly known as a ().

Crash was not light weighing in at over six hundred pounds (272.2kg), thankfully the mud was helping cradling his body from the large weight being lovingly smashed into him. Looking behind Crash seeing all ten of it's tails that could split apart or coil around each other to give them a large strong tail.

Each tail looked the same before becoming one large tail, the horns upon its head was formed into a broken crown. Wounds were riddled all over its body some seemed recent as others looked much older. Most of its horns had broken off and were more fragile than when it was an adult. Crash was an elder, only a small few make it to an elders life span.

The slime, saliva were two different liquids that came from it's mouth. It was raining heavily as it's paralyzing smoke that it could let out by will of Crash. Crash was heavily knowledgeable of how to use its toxic smoke, slime. Crashes body was ten foot long (3,048mm), standing tall at six foot six inches (1,981.2mm).

It's scales were a soft sunburnt green and fur was a faded gray. A hardened armor encased around its head, shoulder along the middle of its back. Five tentacles with hooks and suction cups along each tentacle were happily flailing around both inside and outside of their mouth. The hard armor plating was part of its body, as was the scales and medium length soft warm fur that covered Crash.

Crash was excited as they both began playfully wrestling around in a lush muddy meadow near a tree line both filled with joy and pain as his arms wrapped around Crash. Trying not to be impaled and squished, being carried and played with by Crash.

Keeping close to him with it's tendrils happily holding him the best way Crash could. Crash squealed out loud with joy as the rain stopped for a second around them, before falling back down even faster for a moment. 'I can't believe your here.'

He watched before slowly getting up to onto his knees. Crash putting him back down on the ground panting, jumping. Running around as if it were still a hatchling although it was much bigger than normally stopped growing.

Watching Crash as he panting a bit as his body felt stiff, hard to move trying to join in on the joy. 'Your here..'

"You're such a good Crash!"
 'Aren’t you?'

 "Who missed me?"
'Who missssed me?!?!'

"You did! You did!" Pushing himself up from the ground his legs shook and stumbled around. Only to slip on some mud falling back onto his knees.

He was walking towards Crash wanting to join in their happiness "I missed you so much!" 'Yes I did! Yes I did! I missed you all so much!' Flashbacks of happier times with Crash, with a sibling of the same kind but opposite markings upon its body.

Crash was running around the meadow showing off to him. How fast they were now, rushing from one side of the meadow in almost an instant. "Heeee yeeaa!!" Cheering for them "GO! BOY GO! WHOSE?! THE FASTEST AROUND!! THAT'S YOU!!" Yelling out excitedly.

Crash smacked into the side of a large tree with it's horns. Bursting a hole in the side then ran into another tree and did the same. Each strike breaking the tree's into pieces that Crash was crashing into.

"Ha! careful bud, don't hurt yourself! I see! I see your so strong now!" A loud roar came out of Crash making the trees begin to fall along the treeline. He couldn't help but smile happily. "You've gotten so STRONG, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! GOOD BOY!"

Crash was busy showing off how tough they were that they didn't noticing him fall. Heavily wheezing as Crash slowed down stumbling a bit before turning around and rushing over to him cried out in pain, as its body fell into the mud halfway.

Crash slid a bit in the mud as its legs began pushing against the ground in a pained panic trying to get over to him. Whining cries came from its mouth pushing itself on the ground to get to him. Looking in horror at Crash collapsing to the ground, his heart seemed to stop as his mouth opened up in fear. "CRASH!"

Crashes wounds were starting to open leaving a bloody trail. Crashes body was thrashing around trying to get to him. He was froze for a moment in time, before a splash of rain landed on his eyes making him blink for a second.

Opening up his eyes his legs and arms didn't work fully at the moment gripping the mud only to fall over onto his stomach and quickly crawled on his hands and knees, "Crash!" 'OOooh! No! You do not! get to do that.'

'Get up! HEY CRASH!'

 "Ge-get u-up.."

 'GET UP!!'

He yelled trying to move quickly, as pain was being sent all over his body, "What?!.."

"NOo no-no.."

"Crash!!" 'Please don’t noo! nooo!"  Reaching to Crash as they both start panting and breathing heavily in pain.

"Not now we.."

"I-I just got back. why?!" Reaching along it's side, his hands shaking covering it's wounds in mud that seemed to be slow some of the wounds, that were opening up from Crash's movements. "It's okay we'll close the wounds.."

"Don't worry this. I-I don't have much energy left.."

"This isn't that bad.."

"I will not lose you. I WILL NOT! NO!"

'WE need to ..'

'To cover them..'

The hairs on the back of his neck began to rise. His hands covered in a mix of blood and mud, desperately trying to close each wound.

"Crash has been waiting for your return.

"Defying death, now that isn't an easy feet."

A voice called out nearby. 'That voice again..' Looking up quickly in the direction of the voice "YOU."

"YOU DID THIS!" Looking around quickly moving his arms over the body of Crash.

"I have done nothing, Crash made a deal and now.

"It's fulfilled and now your here aren't you?"

The voice was calm while speaking, as the figure appeared nearby as the rain like a curtain bent around protecting them. He continued to cover Crash with his body the best he could. Panting and whined out crying in pain pushing its head against him.

 "Crash, no..

'I always warned you never to make any deals h-h.' cradling Crash's head in his arm, being careful as Crash shook every so often out of trying to stay awake. One of the tentacles weakly tapped against his back.

"It.." His lips quivered trying to talk but nothing seemed to want to come out. More of Crash's tentacles slithered out touching his face wiping the tears away. Sqwank! Crash called out weakly, each Sqwank faded.

'It's okay I'm here now I'm here. please don't. I-I need you here with me.'  His arm raised up along Crashes side some lightly touching over the scales, fur. Looking horrified tears rolling down his cheeks trying to form words.

'Re-remember, when we would look up at the stars and you'd roar at the shooting stars? huh? Or-or that time you kept snatching the meat from the spit roast? Ha ha, everyone.' The tendrils slowly one by one slowed down their movements. Leaning heavily onto his shoulders.

'E-everyone had got so mad and chased you around.' Tears flowing from his eyes holding onto Crashes body shaking his mouth open as a silent scream poured out. 'I was the only one that could catch you, I guess you were mad I was gone huh? I missed you too!' The figure waiting patiently watching over them.

He sat leaning against Crash. trying to comfort his beloved friend, a family member. His voice cracking every so often. Listening to its heart beat getting slower "I.." It's body let out one last Sqwank with all of it's might for one last time.

'I wanted to go on more adventures with you..' The noise it let out a sound that stopped the rain from falling down. Crashes tail sending out a large piece of mud towards the figure. Crashes whole body stiffened up leaving more of an imprint in the dirt, and mud.

'Please not like this.' His hand shook gripping its paw tighter it wasn't long as the heart stopped. Crash's mouth opened up and let out a joyful screech as its tendrils touched him only to go limp on its way to touch him. Staring at Crash trying to smile, seeing what was Crashes happiest smile he could remember.

'Or the first time we met, with your littler cracking out of your egg shells.' He was in the middle of having a memory only to feel the lifelessness in his hands. His mouth open slightly unable to think of words, "It was the first day you were alive, everyone was so scared of you.'

'You were so hungry, ha.' Trying to laugh but came out as a cracked chuckle, with a lump in his throat. He stayed next to his loyal companion gripping their massive paw, his other hand gripping his stomach as it rumbled. Staying beside them as the rain was slowly washing away the mud from their wounds.

'You all were the most amazing creature's I had ever seen..'

'Like something out of a dream..'

'You two were the best one's there ever will be.'

The smell of food nearby was strong as he held the paw tightly. His voice was soft, "Let's go on one more adventure." 'I-I haven't eaten in so long did you know. I would be starving if.'

'When, I came back? That's my Crash ha, always feeding me even in the end.' He paused hoping and wishing for a response. "Like the good old"  'days.'

Slowly laying Crash's head down into the mud biting his lips. The rain mixing in with tears against his face. His hand shook hesitantly fueled by sorrow and rage. Touching against Crash being as gentle as he could, placing his hand upon the stomach holding the paw in the other.

A warm sensation went throughout his body "Please forgive me.."

'I don't want to do this..'

"Don't hate me." Crash's body was being torn apart, each piece forming into a small glowing bubble. Each bubble began merging into on small bead size before colliding with his body. Absorbing it into his body, tears couldn't stop rolling down his face a silence scream came from his mouth.

"Feel better now? Good. So there is something you can do for me."

Looking up into the sky as he leaned back some letting the rain cover his face. His eyes closing soaking himself in the rain. 'Of course, there is something you need.

"Trust me this will have both of our best interests involved."

A scroll appeared with words of different languages switching from one to another.

"I'll even start with what benefits you'll get. So first on the list, all your powers and everything you once had will be granted to you. A generous gesture on my part, I think."

"Anywa-a-ay, Oh and as requested last time no small print, no hidden deals, nothing but the truth of this deal. Isn't that kind."

"Oh right, you must still be grieving, the poor thing.."

"Whelp, I will leave you alone then but I'll come back when you've settled in a bit more.

"Oh I almost forgot to mention everyone is still alive, but I will warn you some may not like your return. Remember a lot has changed since you last came here."

His body shaking, all that remained was the muddy imprint in the ground that was slowly filling with the rain. His legs shook some in place for a moment "I'm sorry"

Staying still, staring at the imprint when his eyes opened after everything was completely gone. Tears mixing with the rain seemed to stream down his face. Slowly lowering himself down to the ground touching the imprint with shaking hands. 'I'm sorry.'

 'I'm sorry..'

His attention was turned to the figure overlooking him. His fists clenched together as mud began to run out from between his fingers. "There happy now?! You should have just left me alone. Let me just disappear from this world, again!” The figure scoffed at his words before turning his gaze away. “Why am I needed! Huh?!" He said sprinting off towards the figure jumping out to tackle them.

Fires filling his eyes feeling nothing but hatred. The moment his hand touched the fabric, he dove through the figure only to land in the mud. Laying there in the mud in defeat, slamming his fist into the ground in rage. Sending water and mud splashing up. It took a moment, feeling the mud covering his body from head to toe.

Cooling him down from his anger, lifting himself up to his feet. Dusting off his clothing of mud, turning around being face to face with the figure. The figure fading out of sight, with a grin forming from one side of it’s face to the other.

His foot was submerged into mud as he sighed. "Great!" Leaning his head back some to look towards the sky with his eyes closed feeling the rain drops on his face, "You like tormenting me so much. Don't you?" His hands dangling to his side with a heavily sigh.

The water washing away the mud from his face, lowering his head to look back down to the ground. Lifting his hands up in front of him. "What now, huh?" questioning himself, flexing his fingers in front of himself.

He had his freedom, but at what cost? "Back again." Lifting his leg to walk, it had been some time, lifting his head to look ahead, "Alright.."

"Back again then." Walking in the rain, It was a strange feeling to have all these sensations back again. Only stopping every once in a while as he walked to simply feel around with his hands and toes the muddy terrain made him slip and slide some as he made his way, "Ooph, haha almost fell."

The clouds covered the sky above, he had not seen the sun in such a long time. 'It's bright enough to be early morning? Or perhaps it’s getting darker?' looking around more taking in his rainy surroundings. The feel of the mud slipping between his toes the coolness of the water upon his body made his clothing which were tattered and torn sticking to his body showing his form.

'Alone again.' Sitting down in the mud letting the rain fall over him. 'There has to be a town or something nearby, right? Should be.' Staring down at the ground the mud covering his feet.

'Maybe a road?' Looking up towards the sky gesturing to himself and then all around, “Couldn’t give me at least a direction to go?

He exclaimed making his way through the meadow, coming upon a small pond. Looking at the water some standing at the edge of the pond. Leaning down, kneeling down on one knee.

"Hm?" Staring at his own face, touching along his cheeks and over his head. 'It’s been so long since I’ve seen you. Hello me.Standing back up dusting off his knee of the mud.

'I guess I should, try to change into something else or there will be some trouble.Thinking for a moment as he looked down to the ground 'Besides, I doubt they want to see me again.'

Placing his hand under his chin, "Lets get started then, I think I remember how to do this." Reluctantly standing back up straight, closing his eyes for a moment thinking of what he needed to do to change.

His body began shifting, twisting slowly as he groaned a bit trying to keep focused. It didn’t take long for him to fall to his knees in agony. It was something he knew all too well, but it had been such a long time.

From his head to toes were changing, the color of his skin turned to multiple colors. Once there was skin, turned to fur with a long tail forming along tailbone of his spine. Reaching down, gripping the mud at the pond side.

His mouth opened being speechless, through the pain. Passing out shortly afterwards falling upon the ground his arms out reached as his tail laid out of his rags, along the ground. His fur along his back light baby blue with silver tips along the back of his body to the tip of his tail, which at the tip of his tail was puffed out.

Along his sides were patches of jade green, his chest tribal blue markings making their way down to his thighs. The rest of his body held a light brown tint around the stomach area, laying unconscious upon the ground. A bit of time went by beside the pond, the ripple of a fish coming up to catch food.

The clouds over head moved along with soft rays of sunshine coming through as the clouds parted. Two pairs of light footsteps grew closer, one turning back leading away from the pond side. The other footsteps stayed at a distance, before getting a little closer stepping ever so slowly.

A long stick was slowly lowering down shaking before a quick jab to his shoulder with a sharp part of a stick, made him groan and twitch some. The feet quickly stepped back as more footsteps came up much heavier than the others rushing towards them.

Hearing muffled voices calling out, talking among themselves, near his body. Soon surrounding him as he could hear only muffled group of voices talking. His eyes opened briefly seeing blurry visions of shapes, figures.

Slowly closing his eyes from the small ray of sunshine blinding him for a moment. There was only one word he could bring himself to say "Hhee" 'Help?' It was not long before the voices had quietened down.

After the silence there was little talk, before his arms were lifted then his legs being carried away from the pond. His body being lifted a bit higher then laid carefully onto a hard surface. His body jolting some while the surface moved, crackling of metal against rock, wood creaking as gears and objects moved.

Soft voices could be heard around him, half of his body hanging off the edge. The voices from what he could hear were far away. A sudden hard smack to his head, made him groan with pain. His eyes twitched along with his fingertips, 'Ugh.' Sitting up slowly holding his head with a groan. Opening his eyes seeing what he hit or hit him.

His head smacked again into the side of the wall, rubbing his head slightly. He was on a rickety old wagon being pulled down a dirt road. Looking around rubbing his head more seeing more wagons behind.

Staring at awe, watching the wagons following along the dirt road. Each wagon had a cover over it, although they were all connected by a purple bolt from both the top and bottom of each wagon. Each wagon had people sleeping and resting. Children running along the sides of the wagons playing as the adults were gathered together two wagons down.

Each one seemed to argue with the other about what seemed like nonsense to him. 'O' well, I guess.. I don’t have to find the road anymore.' thinking to himself as the tip of his tail flicking along the dirt of the road. Laying back down to rest, curling up against the side of the wagon. Sleeping soundly as the wagon jerked back and forth as the wheels bumped over rocks and slammed into holes.

when?

Coughing tring to breath sweat and blood slowly dripping from the temples of his head. Vision blurred before slowly standing back up limbs shredded and scared.
"And what have we learned?" A voice called out nearby.
"But.. What if there is a cha-" a sharp pain smashed into his side tossing him back like a ragdoll.
The figure stomping calmly towards his ragdoll body laying on the ground twitching in pain his eyes filled with tears. "But.. I."
His stomach and chest being kicked repeatedly bones snapping like twigs. His mouth jarred open in a unaudioable cry of pain.
"There is no but! Time and time again.. this is the end I am putting a stop to it now!" The figure growled in fury, the body before the figure weakened and frail laying upon the ground. His eyes opened up slowly looking up at the figure the feeling of his body was nothing but pain. 'Why is it so bad?.. We've been good doing good things trying to be the good guy the nice guy. Why? Why does it always turn up like this?'
His body felt as if it were nothing more than dirt. If he closed his eyes he wondered would he stay here or if perhaps he'll finally leave this existence. Vision faded as his eyes close. His body jolting side to side as body parts were being mangled and broken.

A faint voice could be heard in his head, "get up"
"No more please... I can't move let me let go please."
"Get up!" More voices began calling out to him getting louder and louder each voice was different. "GET UP!"

"I CANT MOVE I CANT FEEL ANYTHING I CANT DO IT!" He yelled out in his head to the voices. "GET UP! GET UP!" the voices became louder and more unruly.
His finger twitched as it slowly pushed a piece of dirt. His body torn and battered his eyes tearing out blood. The beatings had stopped for the moment.  There was no sound other than the voices calling out to him. Every so often his body jolted and twitched. His hand gripping the ground and began pulling, pushing him up to his feet. Standing up as his body wanted to collapse upon the ground one last time. "Why.." he stood there for a moment shaking and beaten.
"Wanting another round huh? Fine by me what a pathetic little worm you are. Disappointing and disgusting." The figure slamming his body down upon the ground before tossing it as if he was nothing into the forest. Falling down and colliding with each tree it felt like shattering his body even more. The figure uprooted trees boulders and anything else around only to use it to beat him. Tossing what was left of each item. The figure scoffed, "What a waste of effort.. Go crawl back to where you belong."
The figure kicked the ground as a hole appeared nearby the figure used a stick and pushed him into the hole surrounded by darkness as his body collapsed upon the bottom of the hole. The figure looked down scoffing once more, "worm.." the hole filling up leaving him at the bottom. "I'm sorry." Was the last thing that was heard although it did not pass his lips but only thought of it.The figure left walking away annoyed and disgusted wiping off their hands with a rag.
Laying barely able to keep his thoughts together "Where did I go?.. What am I doing?. find them.. where did everyone go? what day is it? is it night? why is a can of tuna canned? The hole above closed as he was surrounded by darkness, "Did I do wrong again? Is this punishment for existing?" a single tear began to stream from his eyes. "I always do wrong? even when I am doing good. Doing the right thing is what we're suppose to do." Laying there feeling broken from head to toe, "I'm a disappointment, I'm sorry everyone.. I'm not a hero. I never was, no matter how hard I tried. I don't want to be the bad guy, the villain... Nobody likes the villain we never get the girl.. our plans of a better life always ruined. Peace will never be for us." In his head a video played showing different breath taking views from different points in time and places. "Beauty isn't for us.." Lastly a hole with him inside and what was around him. "I guess this is where I am huh?" Staring at himself through his mind, "We are a sad excuse for a man, we can't fight back. Why? why can't we fight back? I don't understand." He shook in rage with himself, the pain growing as he shook. "A.. aaahh ow ow.. why why can't we fight back? we don't want to hurt anyone, its the only thing we know how to do is hurt someone, but we don't... why?" Clenching his fist and smacked it down against the floor, only to spin around as his eyes opened up quickly. He spun around laying on nothing but floating in the space of nothing looking around at the darkness. "....I think I'mma be sick.. how do I stop?" He mumbled with swollen face and mouth. Took a breath and used his other hand to try and smack it down to try and go the other way or slow down. His body jolted as he opened his mouth wide as it popped his back, "Ah.. a..aa." Gasping some in pain with a soft whimper, "Rage.. angry.. mad.. we need to get mad.. how.. can we get mad?" He slowly reached his arms out balancing some making the spinning slow down.
"We need any drink?" He asked himself glad to not be on the ground, as it helped his body being levitating in the nothingness. "This is nice, its dark but the pain seems to be going away finally." If he could smile he would as he continued floating in the nothing. "No more pain?" He asked himself feeling like he could think straight finally. "Are we dead?"
"No, just floating around in the abyss."
"Oh.. Okay" there was silence for a moment before his head slowly turned opening up his eyes. "Wait.. Who?" A long eared creature with silver eyes, and dark colored fur with teal and neon green spots randomly on their body. Wearing a jade kilt with two straps around its waist and arms, stood there over him rotating around him as he was still slowly spinning around in a circle. "You're a hard one to find I hope you know that. But don't worry I'm here now, names Rei you look like shit by the way and no your not dead." Staring at Rei, "... I was hoping." "Yeah, but your very much alive right now.. Alright, so hold still and lets see what I can do." Rei lifted up a paw placing the palm on his chest lightly as they both stopped upside down. "Alright, you're stopped. Now, I can look at you better." Rei chuckled while examining the body. "Yup, your kind of hurt. Did you know that?" Rei nodded walking around him.
"Oh, thank goodness.. I thought. I was just having one of those man-o-paws moments." Rei narrowed his eyes staring at him for a moment before smirking, "Ooooha-h, someone's got the jokes." Floating in the air unable to move, "Ha, of course. If I'm going to die.. I'm going to die with a smile no-matter, how I go." Rei raised his brow some, "Well, I like ya, so let's get you up to fluff." Holding out his paw on his chest it was cold for a moment. "A..ah.. I see how it is, make me cold and then going to give me that heat huh?" Coughing some, as his body tensed up shaking. "Oh, I'll be giving you all that hotness. Your jokes are getting a little lame.. could be from the pain or.. your just a one trick pony." Rei chuckled slightly as the coldness grew throughout his body. "Ooo.. Ooo If I get any colder I'm going to be rock hard for you big boy." Rei burst out laughing, "Ha, Oh baby keep talking dirty to me." His eyes started to close, with his body getting colder and colder. The color was slowly leaving his body. Rei shook him some with his paw on his chest. "Hey.. it hasn't even been eight second yet.. come o-" Rei words sounded funny muffled as silence started to fill his ears. 'Oh.. Hey.. I guess. I am going to die huh?' A moment went as his eyes were closed. 'All the pain, is gone.' His fingertips twitched slightly 'I don't understand..'

"Sorry.. I'll die better next time." Rei narrowed his eyes at him once more standing over him, "There is none of that." Staring at Rei, "No?" Rei shook his head folding his ears slightly. "Nope, so come on." Rei turned walking down to the floor "Is it cause I'm weak?" Rei stood, back up on the ground. Dusting himself off, "Weak? who? You? ha.. how are you we-" "I KEEP DYING!.. I keep dying every time no matter what I do it's never good enough. I always die! I haven't felt my heart beat in years unless I'm having a heart attack or... or when a heart murmur happens!" Rei was silent for a moment thinking of what to say. Not expecting what was being said, "Heart murmur? Heart attack?" Rei asked confused. His body started to moved around slightly coughing, shaking taking a step forward slowly walking in the air. "Yes, from what I have been told a heart attack is when the heart tries to stop. A heart murmur is when the heart goes out of sync of its beats and both can and will stop fully.. Then you die!" Rei followed beside neither were actually going any where. "You're body is attacking itself? You have been dying?"

Rei watched him moving around, "How? How can you say your weak when you've come back from the dead multiple times! That sounds li-" His arm lifted up covering Rei's mouth. "You're Rei right?" Rei blinked a bit surprised but nodded. "Okay, you seem very nice but you can leave.. I don't want to be a burden you any longer." "but I just found you? How could I just leave now?" "Easy, everyone else does. But if you want to continue being around then" Walking down onto the ground heading into the foggy abyss, Rei followed behind quickly. "Hey you don't just get to walk away from me.. How are you doing this?!" Rei stared in awe watching the body jolt around slowly getting the hang of how to walk again.

Monsters Of Reimonder Chapter 2

[Leaving house and moved to America]
[allergy to peanut's]

It was time for her medicine, though her fever had gone down she was still smiling happily as if nothing in the world could harm her. She would sit up in bed after her mother had left slowly crawling out as she was told to stay in bed, but her spirit wanted to be out with the other's seeing through the window her sibling's were playing game's and having fun in the sun. Slowly making her way to her bed as she put her dress on. Slowly breathing as she wasn't going to take no for an answer she wanted to be with her family. Although first she needed something to eat to help her keep moving and keep up with her family.

Sneaking into the kitchen she knew she wasn't allowed in, but had a craving that needed to be satisfied. Grabbing a loaf of bread, and made her a sandwich with jelly, but where was the peanut butter she knew there was some there had to be. Searching the cabinet's finding an old jar or peanut's in the very back of the cabinet quickly she opened it the lid was on tight but after a few attempt's the jar was open filling her nose with a blissful smell of the peanut. Taking a handful of the delicious peanut's into her mouth as she crunched them up with her teeth before letting the peanut butter leave her mouth then onto the bread. Smacking the two piece's together forming her sandwich eating it quickly so her mother wouldn't find out. Making her way out of the kitchen sneaking back outside to find her mother and sibling's coming to her mother's side watching them play.

Chapter 3

Laughing and cheering her sibling's on while they played their big people sport's. Her mother held her hand while they watched cheering them on. Only letting her hand go reaching for her drink upon the table. She ran out to join her sibling's trying to be a big person too, after a few minute's her body had shut down suddenly as she fell to the ground. "MOM!" Her brother called out as he ran over to her soon her mother arrived dropping her dink on the ground. "Mom.. she's burning up" her older brother said touching her head, the mother reached over touching her head. Then picked her up with the bigger brother's help running to the house from the backyard. Her body was limp in her mother's arms, putting a thermometer into her mouth to check her temperature. It was very high as her breathing was sporadic and slowing down.

Quickly the big sister ran to her father and told him about their little sister. Was in the garage working on a piece of work dropping what he was doing and called upon the vehicle as they all were stuffed inside and drove to the hospital. On the way to the hospital he was talking upon the phone to the doctor's requesting the renown doctor in the hospital. Soon as she arrived to the hospital she was placed onto a hospital bed as they checked her vitals asking the parents to wait in the waiting room. Test's were quickly done as her blood and sample's were put the test to find out what was going on to this little girl. One of the nurse's asked if she was allergic to anything both of the parents shook their head's, "No she hasn't been allergic to anything for year's now.. why?" "She's allergic to peanut's but she hadn't ate any we stopped having them in the house because of that." "Well apparently she came in contact with it and she is having the reaction to it."

In the hospital as the nurse would check up on her condition her fever had spiked her breathing was getting heavier and faint. The nurse placed a air mask upon her face so she would get help breathing her eyes closed as she whimpered. A cooling pad was placed around her to help bring her temperature down, her parents in the waiting room the mother sobbing while holding her other children in her arm's. "Mom? what's wrong?" "She's going to be alright... right?" "She will be right mom?" the mother could only sob holding her children close to her, "yes.. of course she is" The father stood in the doorway looking down the hallway staring at her room, in the back of his head he was doubting between what could happen, what should happen.

Finally the doctor came into the waiting room calling their last name. "Yes sir.. that's us.. how is my daughter.. is she okay will she be okay?" The father quickly ran over to the doctor with the look of worry and fear upon his face. The doctor was silent for a moment, "Sir.. your daughter's allergic reaction has spread from her lung's up to her brain." The pale look covered his body the chill's began rolling throughout his body. "As far as we can tell.. she also has a tumor on her left side of her brain. If we got the fever down and her allergy to normal state.. she may still have long term effect's or perhaps brain damage..." The father's eyes began watering as his fist clenched, "is there nothing you can do.. WITH ALL THESE MEDICINE'S!! Skill's?! You're telling me that there is nothing you can do!! I thought you were the best!! I want another opinion! everybody anybody" "Sir.. we have double checked.. all we can do is lower her fever and give her anti-biotic's for her allergy.. but all we can do is wait."

"I thought you American's were leader's in medicine! You can heal so many but my daughter you can't do anything about!??!!!" The father yelled out tear's slowly rolling down his cheek's his baby girl it couldn't be her time. "I'm sorry sir.." the doctor turned away and went back to work. Walking out as the father needed to release some steam, The mother sat there clinging to her children over hearing as her tear's continued rolling down as did the sibling's eye's they were going to lose a sister the baby of the family. The father had went home and began yelling and crying to himself in her room, holding onto her little teddy bear in his arm's. "My baby... my little baby please lord.. please take me.. let her live. I'm old she has so much life in her." His tears fell rapidly upon her teddy bear his eyes water and vision blurred. He could see what looked like a silhouette of a creature in the corner of the room.

Quickly wiping his eyes and looked again as it was gone holding her teddy bear. ".. You're here aren't you? You followed us.." He fell to his knee's by her bed looking under her bed then looking all over her room frantically ."Please.. Please help her again." He cried tearing her room up to try and find the figure again. When the mother came home with her sibling's close by she could hear the chaos in her room watching her husband tossing, the daughter's things around. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STA-STOP ... STOP IT!!" She ran into the room pulling and tugging on him to try and make him stop. "I.. it's here.. it's here I seen it I know I did.." He was sobbing with a lump in his throat, before collapsing onto his knee's with his wife in his arm's as they sat there in the middle of the room holding each other. The sibling's came into the room clinging to their parent's crying as well it was a harsh reality that only a few hour's ago they had a sister that was so full of life.

"And why should I help those that went out of their way to kill me?" the voice was distant but was heard by everyone as they leaned their head's back to look around the room still holding each other. "Please.. I.. we beg of you please.. forgive us and help her.. we will do anything just.. please help her." it was silent in the room for a moment, "Anything?" "Y-yes anything please help her..." "are you making a deal?" "Yes.. name your price and we will pay it" "Hmm and what exactly are you asking" "Save our daughter.. heal her give her a live again.. she.. she  is still so young" "I'll think about it" the voice was gone "Please.. help us.." the mother whined repeating herself the father and sibling's began cleaning up her room. Making everything perfect as the father had another idea. "I.. I'll be right back finish cleaning up.."

The father went to his small workshop in his garage as he began calling everyone on the phone in his garage. Asking them random question's about item's and equipment which brought him to another his call's and plan's were being made in his workshop.

Am I?

Heart: Oh, wow this one is amazing! So sweet and kind..

Brain: No they are all sweet and kind at first we been through this.

Heart: But.. this one could be different.

Brain: They will all be different, but the outcome is always the same.

Heart: Yeah I know, but can't we try?

Brain: No! Not now.. maybe later but now we need to focus on healing for the both of us...

*Brain replacing the bandages around the heart gently and carefully. Looking at heart with saddness in the eyes.*

Heart: Hey.. don't look at me like that, I don't look that bad. You should worry about yourself.. You look like shit.

*Heart some of its parts were missing, laying in a bed in roughed up shape. Brain chuckled some having a few cuts and bruises with a few bandages.*

Brain: Yeah, well we both have our own battles we fight.. One day I'll win mine, and that will be the day you will be able to win yours too.

Heart: Really? You think I could win, get better?

Brain: Yes I do, we will win one day and both of us will get better.

Heart tried sitting up, but brain gently pushed them back down.

Brain: No.. No don't, just lay down rest.. I'll take over for a while just rest. It's your turn to rest now and get better.

Heart: But, but I need to show them all that I care I love them all!

Brain: STOP DON'T! Rest please rest.. You need to rest!

*Heart struggled for a while before laying down passing out. Brain watched over the heart tearing up a bit.*

Brain: That's right.. Rest, I'll do my best to let them know, how amazing you are.. We just need to be more careful, I-i just don't know how much longer you will last..

*Tears falling on the ground as Brain stood near the bed, before slowly walking away to let the heart sleep. Brain soon at the controls of the heart and shook with a hesitant hand.*

Brain: I.. I can do this, for both of us..

*Holding onto the controls, as Brain continued on becoming injured and hurt. As time went on, Heart laid there sleeping, while Brain and other parts of the body began to help. Brain kept their post at the controls only allowing the others to have a small part. Once they began hurting as well Brain took over for them and let them rest.*

Brain: We have to keep going..

Chapter 1 For Susan Romanova, Happy cake massacre day. 11/7/17

Loud screams call out echoing through the darkness surrounding her, but no ears heard her. The sound of pleasure, but mostly pain was spreading throughout the land. Her crimson red eyes a blend very rare to find were soon dulled as the life they once held faded. Years later, a crowd gathered in celebration as a mechanical marvel was soon accomplished. Laying down upon the ground, before the command of formation. Upon a large military base, coming out of a hanger much larger than any constructed by man. Airplanes were being pulled out with a special vehicle hauling them into a formation from their assigned hanger. A pair of plump sturdy legs stretched out directly from the sides of a massive body. Pushing up a more curvaceous body, onto the top of two roller feet attached to the ankle.

It was the worlds first aeromorph, though many had been processed and even more failed attempts. It was like a old time sci-fi movie where man created something beautiful, but terrifying at the same time. But this was real, there process of making such marvels were kept classified. Many of the researchers and scientists were strictly put under heavy surveillance. Many of the aeromorphs stood in formation, in no need of a pilot only answering to their superiors. The first place to develop this new foot hold in the arms race, was a base in the motherland of Russia. It wasn't long before other nations upon the world had this technology. Many spy's had been caught on either side and put to death. The sky's belonged to the aeromorphs from transportation to surveillance, but as time went on more and more aeromorphs were produced. Though the race to have them produced were up the new race began to find ways to improve on them to have the most superior aeromorph.

Many aeromorphs were created, though each one had a job to do. It wasn't just fighting or transportation, but recon as well. If it was from scouting out an area, to maintaining support for those on ground. Though there were rumors of not just aircraft being crafted but mobile ground forces as well. The mass production made a difference in the war in itself, though aeromorphs were aircraft. They still sustained injuries and need repair, the cost to maintain one alone cost more material than supplies could maintain. Each battle was a risk for any side to either upkeep those that were able to come back or put them down entirely to maintain those that were needed. It was a massacre each battle humans seemed to stay out of the air's now, though the weapons being placed on the aeromorphs were more than any normal aircraft could handle for long periods of time. Once more innovation and technology were put to the test, to find ways to improve. One war, became the last war as it continued for many years.

The very first aeromorphs were larger than that a normal airplane, when the improvements of recent came to existence they were no more than the size of a human. This made repairs less costly, and fights more furious and devastating. Secrets were always meant to be broken at some point, if there was a peaceful time the lifespan of a aeromorph would outlast a human, anthro by many years. If there were any original aeromorph left they would still be young at heart with their youthful outlook. One elder aeromorph was named an elite unit of a squad, and a gem of the Soviet union military.

Her name was Aliona, which the name was given to her by the commanding officer in charge of her role in the army. The name referenced the moon her completion was done under the full moon's light. When she was created, she was assigned to a Arkady which was customary for the commanding officer to be present once creation was complete. Though it was her real name, she had been given the military brand of 'Bronislava'. Her upbringing was upon the shoulders of the commander, though she was given the most harshest of treatments, Arkady was known for his harsh treatment of any those under his command. Aliona was coated with a light gray color with silver streaking down from the tip of her nose down the sides of her body to her wing tips. A curvaceous form her wing span was 50 foot and 5 inches, measuring in at 106 foot from the tip of her nose to the bottom of her wheeled feet. Upon her chest she housed the fuel, which each tank making her chest extended out like a females chest.

There were images placed upon her body that showed her rank and specialty, but only after her first assignment. The first image she was given was from the commander, it was the soviet union mark upon her. A reminder for her where she belongs and who she serve's. The mark was placed to her right side of her chest. Though she was a aircraft, her body had the curves of a female. Her thighs were thick and strong some may say she was crafted after a human female. Though her face was pointed, as her eyes were her windshields. The body of an aeromorph was complex to touch, some had a rubber like feel to them giving them flexibility on body land and sea. Others had a softer feel, for gliding through the air helping with wind drag, and aerodynamics.

"Commander were under attack call fo-!" the radio contact went silent as a group of elder aeromorphs were out on patrol along the waters of the north. The soviet aeromorphs were in hot pursuit of a traitor, their intelligence that was given to them was to search and destroy any evidence. "red leader.. should we-" "No arrival and secure is top priority" "But what about?" "she knew the cost for failure." "But commander" "do you wish to accompany her?" "No ma'am.." "then let her death not be in vein." "Yes Sir." the group were old, and a bit slower than the new aeromorphs thought this was suppose to be an easy no need to rush mission. Once they arrived at the location, all that was around them were parts and pieces of other aeromorphs they were nothing but old aeromorphs. "what the?!.. commander"

The group separated out to salvage any intel from their other comrade's, "who did this? there are pieces from all over.. france.. Germany.. even the yankee's all these old aeromorphs..." A loud explosion was heard two of the transport aeromorphs exploded another began flying away from the area only to be shot down with a AA gun. "IT'S AN TRAP!" The rest of the group soon scattered away from the area each one the commander could hear their radio com's cutting off one by one. It was only her now, the commander of the red wing aeromorph strike force, never did she see anything so fast. A single aeromorph began calling out though it didn't sound like any other that she could recall. It was in fact the newest version of the aeromorphs. "Grandma, here grandma its time to say good nighhhht." His voice was sarcastic and snobbish perhaps this was the plan all along. to be lured out to be killed, she wouldn't let herself believe that her country would ever betray her like this after all that her and her team had done.

"Well come on grandma, you think you can take me? I'd like to see yo-" He was cut off as she slammed his body into the ground with a full forced wing chop. Even though she had a much bigger body she was able to conceal herself just enough to catch this new model off guard.  Making an engraved indent with the form of his body, revved her turbines in anger how dare some young punk talk to her in such a manner. It was true she was a very old model of aeromorph, but she thought herself still a women, "Well old and feisty just how I like'em" the males voice came from the ground before a barrage of bullets shot out, pushing her body away and cutting through her armor. Her arm was pierced with the array of bullets. Raising back up his body was holding up better than her without a scratch. "Don't worry grandma, I'll make this fast for you."

"You need to learn how to respect those above you!" her cannon nose taking aim as she talked, before a bright light shined though as she unleashed her own blow from her cannon. She pulled her right arm up with the h-1 missile shooting from the spot upon her arm. Though she had shot, a voice came close behind her, "too slow grandma" her eyes went wide turning around swinging her massive arm towards the voice only to have him place up his arm blocking it with little resistance. "good bye" He said as her own missile struck against her back hitting another turbine causing it to burst into flame. Her cry of pain echoed through the air, as another barrage of bullets blew into her front. Along with damage from that he forced a blow to her belly tossing her up into the air with brute force.

His jets lit up sending him into a high speed to help send her more up into the air. After he reached her once more grabbed her wheeled legs and began spinning her around until both caused a small tornado in the clouds sending her in a random location. He flew after her, her moves were sluggish now as she was loosing much of her armor and oil that kept her old parts going. Slamming her down against the water as her body skipped along the water like a skipping stone. In his ear he heard his commander call out to him. "Come in please respond.. respond now this is an order!" the commander was losing patience for the young aeromorph. "But sir! I've almost completed my mission!" The young aeromorph was complaining, as he had to stop mid air hovering where he was. "That's enough come back to base you have another mission for you."

"BUT SIR!" "That is a direct order soldier!" grumbling with annoyance soon turning his course and headed back to base. It wasn't long before that she had finally landed on shore, half in the water and half on shore. Her arm in shambles as she was loosing oil, loosing consciousness. A large splash turned into a rouge wave towering up into the sky only to end a mile away from the shoreline. Her body laying broken defeated upon the shore, the ice like millions of daggers cutting into her already broke body, as well as tossing inland landing upon the ground pointing upward. The ground shaking was felt for miles from the shoreline. "H-hmm? what was that? Am I under attack?" Someone asked falling from their seat as they were leaning back falling asleep at their desk.

Grabbing his coat soon as he got back up to his feet. "What the hell was that?" Opening up the door, as he looked around pulling the coat close it was snowing a storm that was coming was getting closer. "Gah.. dammit what was that" He said soon noticing in the distance a cloud of smoke coming from the horizon. "Ooh my"  Moving back inside, once the hanger doors opened completely a snow runner sped through the snow that already was upon the ground. A snow runner was a heavy equipment snow vehicle which could rip through another vehicles frame. It was mostly used for rescue to help trapped civilians from their vehicles. "Well I hope nobody is dead this time.. I don't think I can reach the hospital in time..." He was concerned it was an hour before he got to reach the location. His eyes were wide in awe. "what the.." climbing out of the snow runner and handing onto the door handle so he could get a better view. ".. must have been a fight nearby." thinking about it for some time he could see her shifting back and forth as if trying to move if not from the coldness of the water than to keep alive long enough she was furiously yelling out profanity about killing everyone and about being disrespected.

He blinked at her accent which made a shiver run up his spine, "oh well then must be what german? Britain? ooh perhaps french" but when he noticed the symbol of the soviet union on her side. "Oh, how sad" He said before climbing back into the snow runner sitting in the driver seat and watched her for a moment. gripping the mic, "excuse me.. uh" he went silent when she got up to her feet her eyes filled with so much rage and pain only taking two steps with her wheeled feet and fell down on the land out of the water. "I'll.. kill... yo" she fainted once more with how much oil and how damaged she was. "Uh hey I'm going to pull you somewhere safe.. just.."  He watched as her body was laying still on the ground. "I guess that means you agree." Pulling forward as her nose cannon fired nearby as if using the last bit of her strength to take at least one more out with her.

"HEY I'M TRYING TO HELP!" Crying out upset at her though she had missed in her state. Grumbling some while slowly moving towards her until he was able to climb out of the snow runner and hook up to her, luckily there were extra straps and cables, which he bond her up the best he could. It took almost the whole day and some of the night before getting done binding her and getting her back to his hanger. It had been a few days since he found her with her foot in the grave, from that time he had to hide her from authorities and any suspicion about what he really had.

Her injuries were healing slowly but she still had some work, though the weather wasn't helping any. She may be a areomorph and was the enemy, he would stand in the doorway watching the storm rage on outside. Glancing back at her not keeping his eyes off her for too long, he heard rumors of the aeromorphs abilities were suppose to be superior to that of a human. Although when he looked at her all he seen was a women, of course the whole armory attached to her body was intimidating. "Get some rest, will ya?" He said noticing an eye open watching him when he glanced at her. "I can not do that, you are enemy I will keep a watch on you till you are dead." Her accent made him shiver some, it was too adorable and he had his own quirk about him.

"Oh sure and here I thought you just liked to stare at me imaging naughty and erotic things you wish to do with me.." responding to her, her head lifted from the pillow straining to sit up. "I would never you!" She was enraged though, her cheeks were getting darker as if her nose cannon was over heating. She was so enraged and flustered that she couldn't think of anything to counter his words. "Just lay down will ya, you'll never heal properly if you keep moving around.. What do you want to stay stuck with me forever?" He asked her, though this made her think heavily about her injuries and killing him. It would be so easy, but he was correct she needed him even if she didn't want to admit it. "Just kill me and be done with it.." She muttered slowly laying back down upon the cushions, of the pillows the pain she was feeling was getting to be too much for her as she passed out from exhaustion.

Yawning some pulling back from the doorway to find that she was finally asleep. "Well if you insist." he said under his breath, walking towards her once he was next to her up on the top of a long ladder to help work on old model airplanes. He reached down pulling a much heavier blanket over her to keep her warm. "Mother always said.. if you want to kill someone.. kill them with kindness." He chuckled softly to himself the door slammed closed making him jump some. "dear lord.." Laughing to himself before going back to the door locking it as he could see through the small window in the door watching the snow piling up outside. "Still.. she's lucky to be in one piece.."

Taking a deep breath before walking out of his hanger to shovel out some snow. It was going to be a long day, and perhaps few weeks he thought she would only be around for a short period of time. Though what happened was her injuries and her state of mind wanting to kill him every time he walked into the hanger was one problem he had to deal with at some point. "Alright listen you've been saying that since I pulled you from a icy grave.. I am not your enemy I'm only trying to help you so either shut up and let me help you or you could whine more when I don't." He shouted at her and walked off, when he was gone there was a commotion outside where it was another day before he walked back into the hanger this time she didn't say a word to him, as she didn't want to speak to him at all.

"Oh I see giving me the cold shoulder huh?.. well that's fine two can play at that, but i'm not going too.. because it is just me and you so get used to it.. well until you kill me and run around this land.." He said to her with his hands on his hips standing near her head, she looked at him in deep thought, "when my injuries are healed I demand to be upgraded.." She looked dead serious to him, he raised his eyebrow not expecting such an answer to what he said. "upgraded? well sure.. I can do that.. why?" He asked curiously her head turned from his, "none of your business..." He laughed, "then no upgrade you have to know that your situation here isn't really.. natural besides " "To kill the one who did this to me.. my revenge.." He blinked to her interrupting him and to her answer. "yeah I could do that.." She looked surprised staring at him before narrowing his eyes, "then I'll kill you afterwards.. see planning makes perfect." He blinked at her and then looked over her body, "and I am guessing your plan was to get the tar beat out of you too?" She let out a loud rumble of a roar. "Don't you say such things! we.. were.. I mean Ii was ambushed is all.. can't plan for an ambush when you don't know it its coming.."

After that day no other words were spilled between the two about her past. It was exactly that her past, though there were times when laughter was filled inside of the hanger. although a few times while mending her wounds and keeping her moral high she did open up to him about a few things she remembers about her past as did he. These times for both of them were good times, there was no war going on inside this one hanger, but the outside world did come inside every so often which they both had a system of hiding from those that entered the hanger. She had told him about all the species that would come to her in her hanger some were friends and others were just there to work and be on their way, although he didn't hear anything about a human. When he talked or asked her about any other humans like him she would just stare off into space and shake her head like she couldn't say not that she didn't want to say. Until one day almost two years from her arrival, when he opened the door of the hanger she was waiting for him.

Her eyes looked serious with a flame that he hadn't seen in such a long time. Once he was inside and the door closed she demanded him to rebuild her into a aeromorph like the new models so she could get her revenge. Looking at her with a puzzled expression on his face, "You want me to do what?.. well I can do it yeah, but that means pulling you apart an-" smacking the ground with her free arm, "You said you wanted to help with my revenge and my recovery!! then do it!!" She said with a fire boiling in her chest, having heard that her attacker was spotted sometimes nearby. "I want to be rid of him once and for all when  I have that... that.. cockpit dangling from a necklace.. and when I am done I'll return an-" he interrupted her as he had listened to her whine and complain all the time about him. "Kill me too?" She was hesitant for a moment, "all...  him.. and your country" she didn't say anything else laying there upon her stomach "now do it!" she called out with less rage, but more in some thought.

Sighing with some thought of himself, "very well.. I will need to put you under." He said before making arrangements of the operation to undergo upon her body. He gulped some, he knew some things about aeromorphs, but could or should he really take one apart to make it better, sure there were plastic surgeons that do it to anybody that had enough money. It took him most of the day to move her from one side of the hanger to where he could work better on. Once she was knocked out he began his work through the day and into the next. It wasn't easy as he was getting worried more and more after each hour passed. He would be done only in four day's with little sleep, and a few bumps. He was able to transform her body from the large body into a more compact smaller body . She was still holding on as he took her off the life support equipment. "please live.. even if you kill me. at least then I know you'll be alive"

Her body was now 9ft tall her body had some imperfections as he had to make most of the armor she had on now. When he was making the armor he thought about what she might face and began experimenting with some of the armor plates he had left over from a aeromorph he had fixed years ago. Yawning as it had been a long and hard surgery before finally falling asleep next to her with his head on the steel beam near her chest. He had fallen asleep for a few hours before waking up seeing that her chest was slightly raising and falling, "oh thank you.." standing up as he stretched, "well this calls for celebration!.. oh and perhaps.." He looked back at her before heading out the door to go to town she would need some more fluids and he wanted to give her something so she would feel better remembering what she said about her being built wanting to surprise her with a gift. He spent more time at the town than he did at the hanger gong through each store wanting something special before he found it. His eyes lit up, "haha perfect.." he began paying for everything he was getting and made a straight line to the hanger.

Arriving at the hanger he parked his truck near the doorway that way he could get in easier and so he could surprise her even faster. Walking back into the hanger seeing that she was gone, ".. right.. your not here anymore are you?" He said to himself a frown crossed along his face before clicking the hanger doors, once clicked the doors began opening up with a squeal every once in a while pulling the chain link that pulled the door up. Once the doors were completely open a tear ran down his face before he sighed softly. "You didn't say.. good bye.. I'll kill you later or anything." He said walking back outside but this time through the hanger doors. "At least now she will be able to kick some major tail." he smiled only a little before returning to the small shop placing a box on the shelf. He looked at it for a while before he turned to continue what he started a few years ago. "Time to get started.. again."

Her body felt so free now, the breeze upon her body the chill of the atmosphere upon her back. "Good to be back.. I will repay that little punk ten fold now." Though her body had been shaped and constructed a new she was still learning about her new self. Her eyes were still lit with the flame of vengeance, though she had no idea how to actually find the one that humiliated her. The whole mission she had been on was sketchy from the beginning, and the scenery she had witnessed wasn't making sense to her.
